Servanthood

Manners matter. Be grateful, even during times of adversity. Treat others the way that you would want to be treated. Always look to help others without expecting anything in return. Seek respect, not attention. It lasts longer.

Unity

Put the team’s interests before your own. Make your teammates better and earn their trust. Work just as hard at being a great teammate as you do at being a great player. Play for each other, not with each other.

Integrity

Do the right thing because it’s the right thing to do, even when no one is watching. What’s right is not always popular, and what’s popular is not always right. Set a positive example.

Competitiveness

Always give your best effort and never give up, even when the odds are against you. Pay ridiculous attention to detail. Compete in all that you do…this includes your academics. Never let anyone outwork you. Embrace adversity as an opportunity for growth, not for self-pity.

 

Enthusiasm

Approach each day with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind. Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm. Encourage rather than discourage. Be someone a stranger would want to meet.
